Kaduna State Government has said it is to squaring up with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) over the threat of another industrial action. The governor, who condemned the threat by labour to engage in another strike in the state soon, accused the NLC of engaging in falsehood by alleging that the state government sacked workers. His words: “The local councils, which are autonomous, have disengaged some employees because the they are facing more financial crisis than the state government. The local councils have sacked some. Of course, I am being blamed for that, as if the state government controls the local councils.
